Matt was a special man who touched the lives of so many people. His presence was felt by others wherever he went, people were drawn to him-infected by his presence and aura. He had many attributes-he was honest, genuine, charismatic, a man of integrity, an adventurer and sportsman, and he was also quite gifted with the spoken word. Matt was also humble and even though he awed over his own accomplishments he never forgot where he came from or how he got started.

Matt used to say, “It’s all about the journey” and what an incredible journey he had. He lived life to the fullest. Matt was married to the love of his life and best friend. He was a father, stepfather, Papa, uncle, brother, cousin, friend, and mentor. His absence has been felt by all those he loved and who loved him and he will forever remain in our hearts.

To our family and friends, thank you for all your love and . It is true, “No man is a failure who has friends;” based on the love and we have received there is no doubt that Matt was a success!
