It’s Pride Month across the U.S., and even though San Diego celebrates the occasion with its largest events in July, there are plenty of ways to enjoy Pride sooner.

Some of the festivities in June include drag and comedy shows, fundraisers, musical performances and film screenings.

Here are just a few of this year’s events, listed in order of when they’re taking place.

Pride at the Beach: Find a main stage with entertainment, local and traveling vendors and other activities at this annual event. At 3:45 p.m. the next Mx. Pride by the Beach will be crowned. Musical performers include Jessica Duron, The San Diego Coasters and DJ Inspire and friends. noon to 6 p.m. June 7. Pier View Way between South Nevada Street and Coast Highway in Oceanside. Gays, Theys, and Baes Comedy Show: The Clark Cabaret stage at Diversionary Theatre will host a comedy show featuring local and regional performers and headliner Aidan Park. There will also be a raffle fundraiser for Yay! Foundation. 5 p.m. June 8. LGBTQ+ Luminaries Lunch: This lunch brings together LGBTQ+ leaders and allies who are making change and leading in San Diego. Several awards will be given, including the Luminary Hero Award and Luminary Icon Award, and lunch will be served. 11:30 a.m. June 13. Hilton San Diego Bayfront, 1 Park Blvd., San Diego. Ramona Pride: The community of Ramona will celebrate Pride with a series of events at a one-day festival. Out at the Fair: A lineup of performers will entertain visitors at this annual festival inside the San Diego County Fair. DJ Lotus, Thomas Orlina, and The Glam Show are all on the schedule. The event is included with regular fair ission, so guests can also enjoy the rest of the activities there that day. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 21. Gay and Lesbian Singles Night: Rooftop Cinema Club will host a singles event with Matchbox Dating. Participants will fill out a questionnaire and possible matches will be revealed throughout the night. Earlier in the month, on June 9, the cinema club will host a screening of “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar” with proceeds going to San Diego Pride. 9:45 p.m. June 24. 2025 Pride Celebration at the Museum of Us: At this Balboa Park museum, visitors can do special Pride-themed stations and activities, including some from the queens of Haus of St. James, who will do mini performances. Third Annual Rainbow Revolution: Readers may want to attend this event for the reveal of the 2025 Pride-themed library card.
