Re “How did San Diego trash fees end up so much higher than predicted">May 4): I find it interesting that the city is encouraging us to minimize our trash footprint through fees and recycling, but is planning to replace plastic bins by the hundreds of thousands. Where will they put all those bins? In the dump?
