After watching San Diego FC’s undefeated start, something’s missing: a proper nickname.

“The Azules” fits perfectly. It references their official navy blue color, honors our region’s binational character and stands unique in MLS.

As San Diego FC works to create an inclusive atmosphere at Snapdragon, this Spanish/English nickname would celebrate the diverse fanbase that stretches from San Diego County into Baja California.

This young club is building something special on the pitch. Let’s give it a nickname that matches its identity.
