Our mission statement

The mission of the MiraCosta College Foundation is to promote the benefits of MiraCosta College and secure resources that transform lives.

Our 2025 goals

  • Expand for students and college  campus programs.
  • Close equity gaps for disproportionately impacted students.
  • Foster academic excellence.

The areas we serve

Coastal North San Diego County.

Donation opportunities

Gifts student scholarships, emergency funds, and campus programs.

Scholarships:

  • Our goal is to provide 700 students with scholarships this year.
  • Gifts of any size student scholarships.
  • Donors giving $5,000 or more annually can establish a named scholarship.
  • Endowed scholarship funds of $25,000 provide a named legacy that s students annually.

Resilience Fund for Emergency :

  • Our goal is to 100 students with emergency funds
  • Students often work multiple jobs to make ends meet until completing their education. A sudden job loss or emergency can leave a student with no option but to quit school.
  • The average student emergency can be overcome with a gift of $500 per student.

Endowment Matching Gift Campaign:

  • Donors leave a legacy today by giving for tomorrow.
  • Every dollar up to $120,000 this year will be matched dollar for dollar and invested for growth.
  • Gifts of $12,500 or more will be doubled to establish a named endowed fund.
