UPDATED:

Knowledge is power and the greatest asset you can acquire in order to compete for a fantasy football championship.

Here’s your 2023 preview of the New York Jets, the 12th of 32 team profiles during draft season:

2023 Fantasy MVP: Garrett Wilson, WR

Wilson (ADP: 19) finished as the overall WR21 across most formats his rookie campaign with … ***checks the Jets 2022 roster*** … Zach Wilson, Mike White and Joe Flacco at quarterback. With the upgrade at QB, he has top-five potential.

2023 Fantasy Sleeper: Aaron Rodgers, QB

Rodgers (ADP: 99) had one of his worst statistical seasons in his final year with the Packers and still finished as fantasy’s overall QB13. Last time he “struggled” like that, he followed it up with back-to-back MVP awards. Rodgers will turn 40 in December, but there’s been no sign of skill erosion. He isn’t a dual-threat like most of the top-tier signal-callers, but he’s still capable of being fantasy relevant and there’s a good chance he has at least one more MVP-caliber season left in the tank.

2023 Fantasy Bust: Breece Hall, RB

Hall (ADP: 41) showcased his immense talent last season before his rookie year was derailed by an ACL injury in Week 7. I actually trust new teammate Dalvin Cook (ADP: 65) over Hall this season because it usually takes at least one season to bounce back all the way from an ACL tear. At very least, I feel like they will split the workload 50-50, which will make it hard for Hall to payoff his price tag.

2023 Fantasy Rookie to watch: Israel Abanikanda, RB

“Izzy” had a breakout season in 2022 with 100-plus rushing yards in nine of 11 games and 21 total TDs (best in FBS) for Pittsburgh. He isn’t a bulldozer, he’s a home run-hitter who uses his speed and angles to get around defenders. He’ll only be 20 years old when the 2023 NFL season kicks off so he deserves consideration in dynasty formats.
